GOOP & GOOP FEATURES
Goop medium allows a painter to paint without any odor or toxic fumes as it contains no solvents of any kind. It has the consistency of a thin "mayonnaise" and dries with a satin finish. It can be rubbed on the canvas and painted into or added to the paint itself and used as a protective "polish" when the painting is dry . Also available with Mica for a pearly affect.
Goop is a miracle product, it is like penicillin, it does many things, aside from being 'a great oil painting medium' with no odor and no toxicity, it can be rubbed on wood, marble, stone or metal as a satiny protective finish. When using goop as a final protective finish. You can also do Faux, Antique finishes and glazing since its perfectly clear & does not yellow.
TUBES: 40ML, 140ML , PINT JARS AND BIGGER SIZE.
Upgrading the use of goop medium: For painting fat over lean start with marble dust in oil (a new product, same price as goop) it is leaner than goop, therefore quicker drying. Goop is more transparent as it contains no marble dust, but it is "juicier" and more refractive. For alla prima painting goop can be used alone, neither one has any solvent, odor or toxicity.
Since “Goop” has become such a popular medium for oil painters and because of all the benefits it has such as:
-A SATIN FINISH
-IT THINS BUT NOT IN A LIQUID SENSE AND CAN BE USED AS A PROTECTIVE POLISH ON DRIED PAINTINGS
